Independent publishing is very expensive. We have worked very hard to find reputable online stores to produce our wonderful stories in
each of our formats. Each provider has it's own limitations and that is why some of our products are offered from one store and some from another. Please see our
FAQ page for more information. |

The Velveteen Rabbit was Margery Williams' first children's book and it was the most popular of all her children's books. It
has been awarded the IRA/CBC Children's Choice award. (The Children's Book Council)
In this wonderful story, a boy receives a Velveteen Rabbit for Christmas. The Velveteen Rabbit is snubbed by other more
expensive toys. He also meets some "very well-made toys with no seams" (they are actual rabbits), and the Velveteen Rabbit
learns about the differences between himself and the real rabbits.
One day while talking with the Skin Horse, the Rabbit learns how toys become real. And, not long after, he gets to
experience that wonderful bit of magic for himself.
